As an overview, the Tabernacle centers on Jesus Christ and the covenant path. At each station, visitors learn how the Tabernacle’s symbols point to Him: Christ is the Gate through which our journey back to God’s presence begins; the unblemished Lamb whose Sacrifice paid for our sins; the Living Water represented by the laver; the Bread of Life represented by the table of shewbread; the Light of the World represented by the menorah; and the Veil through which we enter God’s presence. Just as the children of Israel arranged their tents around the Tabernacle, we center our lives on Jesus Christ, His teachings, and His Atonement.
